one day at a time

So I need to update on what is going on with this pregnancy. About 2 weeks ago I had some bleeding. Started off slow, but then almost was like a period. That went on for a few days, then it stopped. A few days pasted and I had a little spotting. I thought no big deal. Then I started to have cramps like I was on my period. Bleeding was off and on. We just moved so I wanted to get into the system so I could see a doctor. So yesterday we went to the hospital and got that done. I went by OB clinic and made an appt. I asked about needing appt sooner. The guy told me they have sick call 7:30-9:30 every morning so if you don't have an appt, but want to be seen you can come then. So I decided to go this morning. I woke up early and went to the hospital. I was there forever! I had blood work done and we waited a long time for the results. So I finally go back in a room. Once I put the sheet over me I feel leaking. I wasn't even bleeding much today, but once I got into the office and sat down, there it came. So when the nurse came back in I told her. She said not to worry about it, but she gave me a new sheet, but she said it is no big deal. So the doc comes in and we talk for a min. She asked me if I have seen any tissue. I have no idea what that will look like, but I don't think I have seen any. So she puts the god awful clamp in and took some samples. She noticed the large amount of blood. So she does a vaginal sonogram. She sees something there in the embryonic sac, but it is so small it is saying I should be 5 weeks and 3 days when I should be 7 weeks. There was no heartbeat. So she told me she wanted to see me as soon as she could after the weekend. She said over the weekend a heartbeat could appear. She has sick call again Tuesday and she wants me to come back then. And we just have to hope there will be a heart beat then.
